Blackstone Valley!

Tours will leave from the Woonsocket, Lincoln,
Pawtucket, Cumberland and Glocester Town Halls in
May 2012…watch this space for more information
The fun
way to learn about recycling! The participants will
tour the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Recycling
Plant and then take a boat ride on the Blackstone
River. They will have all their questions
answered such as “Am I recycling right? Why does it
matter? and “Is there something else I can do to
Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful?”
Busses
leave from locations and tour the Resource Recovery
Plant for 30 minutes. Participants will get back on
the bus and travel to the Central Falls Landing for
a riverboat tour. Along the way, they will
learn valuable things about recycling; they will see
the beauty of our natural environment and will be
given ideas on how to keep it beautiful!
