Spring 2008 Tire
Collection Results
This year’s tire collection was
a huge success, more than quadrupling the amount collected last
year. Over 3,200 tires were collected as part of the Great
American Cleanup. The Town of Smithfield, Firestone Complete
Auto Care in Pawtucket and Bill’s Auto Parts partnered with Keep
Blackstone Valley Beautiful to sponsor this event.
Spring
2007 Tire Collection Results
The Tire Round Up was a great
success with over 700 old tires collected! The collection was
held in conjunction with National AmeriCorps Week and is also
part of Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup™.
Firestone Complete Auto Care in Pawtucket, the city of
Pawtucket, Bill’s Auto Parts, the town of Cumberland and Ann &
Hope partnered with Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful to hold the
event.

An astonishing 3,756 tires were
collected at the Third Annual Blackstone Valley Tire Round-Up.
The event was sponsored by Firestone Complete Auto Care, Bill’s
Auto Parts, Lakin Tires East and Ann & Hope.
