Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful’s Fifth-Annual Blackstone Valley Tire Round-Up

May 17, 2008 from 9am-1pm

Smithfield Public Works Garage, 3 Spragueville Road, Smithfield

This is a great chance to get that old tire out of your garage! Residents from the Blackstone Valley’s cities and towns are encouraged to bring tires that they may have on their property. Disposal of rimless tires are free and tires with rims are $2.50 each, used to help fund the Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful program. This collection is for residents only and is not open to businesses. Passenger tires from cars and light trucks will be accepted for recycling. No commercial truck tires will be accepted.

This event is sponsored by Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful, Firestone Complete Auto Care in Pawtucket Town of Smithfield and Bill’s Auto Parts.
