The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is a non-profit organization focusing on environmental education and advocacy, natural resource conservation, and the protection of open space and natural wildlife habitat. Tours are welcome to view many of our pristine wildlife habitats. Interested parties must call ahead as rates, hours & times vary with group size. The mission of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island is to protect birds, other wildlife and their habitat through conservation, education and advocacy for the benefit of people and all living things.

Environmental Programs

Environmental Educational Center

Many of Audubon’s public programs and events take place at the Environmental Education Center.  Be sure to check our calendar frequently for program descriptions and registration.  The Center can also host your school group or other community group privately. The Audubon Environmental Education Center is a state-of-the-art natural history museum and aquarium offering many natural wonders to explore. The Center offers guided tours, nature walks, special family programs and much more throughout the year. The facility and trails are handicapped accessible. More

School Programs

Audubon educators provide high quality, hands-on science programming in classrooms, on our wildlife refuges and at our Environmental Education Center in Bristol. Programs include: After school programs, professional development, prop boxes for teachers, links to standards and discounts and scholarships.  More

Advocacy

The organization supports a number of initiatives to improve climate change, protect habitat and natural resources, and improve water quality and availability.  More
