RiverClassroom programs are a hands-on outdoor environmental educational experience developed by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, and now led by Mystic Aquarium educators and scientists. The program provides students with an opportunity to learn about the natural, cultural, and historical aspects of the Blackstone River Valley. In addition, programs can be specialized according to teacher’s requests and grade level needs. This very popular program takes place onboard the Coast Guard certified Explorer riverboat and gets students engaged with the surroundings that many have yet to discover.
